PENICHE 16th CENTURY FORTRESS

It was once used as a prison controlled by dictator Salazar's secret police to incarcerate political opponents and today houses a museum about local history.

This has the beginnings of a very nice website. To see artists' sketches of their part of the world is exciting. Do you ever use a journal?

No, I don't.
I enjoy recording and drawing from direct observation and sometimes I do think of doing some journaling but I never never have organized this activity, I mean in my mind, in order to include sketches, images, diagrams and text or descriptions in an organized way.
Or perhaps I'm just being too lazy :)
