I draw on location, indoors and out, capturing what I see from direct observation.
My drawings tell the story of my surroundings, the places I live and where I travel.
My drawings are a record of time and place and I am truthful to the scenes I witness.
Sketches are a great eye opener...for artist seeing into the world...for the art lover seeing into the soul of the artist. I have volumes of sketchbooks from over the years. Working out paintings as thumbnails....studies...visual thinking. These are good...and nice to see a blog dedicated to such.
